Her first book started a ten book series, but Tijan felt that it was so badly written, that she took it down from a site for free reading. She still misses all of the socialization on a day to day basis people get with their co-workers. Having a regular job was super important and it was something that she found very tough to do, even though she knew she would be fine. It was a choice she agonized over, even though she knew it was a good decision. Her job was physically demanding and would make her so exhausted that she couldn’t be as productive as she was with her writing. The only light in her life was Willa, her girlfriend, who she’d see by driving across the border into West Virginia and hanging out at a seedy bar with a fake ID.
